A design studio for hotels
Websites for independent hotels, built to take the booking direct.
One house at a time, anywhere in the world. We design the site, we build the booking, and we work in eight languages so your guests read it in theirs.
What we do
We design and build the whole of it: the pages, the photographs, the words, and a booking that belongs to the house.
We work with independent properties of every size, from a five room guesthouse to a large family owned hotel, in any country.
If you already use a booking system, we connect the site to it and leave it where it is. If you would rather start again, or you have never had one, we build it.
The work
Rooms, rates, and a booking that belongs to the house.
Most hotel websites are a gallery with a button on it that sends the guest somewhere else. This is the part we do differently, and it is working below rather than being described.

Breakfast is at eight in the courtyard. Tell us your train and we will meet it.
Dates, rooms and rates on the house's own domain, with nothing taken in between. Try it: choose two nights, see what is free, and take a room. We connect this to the booking system you already run, or build you one.
Languages
Your guests read it in their own.
Choose one and the booking above changes with it. These ten are a sample. We build in whatever language your guests arrive speaking, right to left included.
We build in any language you need, written rather than run through a translator, including the ones that read right to left. A guest arriving from Shanghai, Osaka or Athens gets a site in their own language, not an approximation of one.
How a project runs
You write to us, and we talk about the house. Who comes, what they book, which rooms sit empty in March, and what you wish people understood before they arrived.
Then we design it, and you see it early and often. Nothing is signed off from a description, and nothing arrives as a surprise at the end.
When the pages are right we build the rest: the booking, the rates and the seasons, and the languages your guests arrive in. If you already run a booking system we connect the site to it. If you would rather start again, we build one.
It goes live on your own domain, the booking belongs to the house from the first night onward, and after that it is yours. We stay reachable for the things that come up, because they always do.
The studio
Ancorella is a design studio for hotels, led by Paden Beck.
We work with independent properties on every continent we can reach, from a five room guesthouse to a large family owned hotel. What they have in common is that the booking should belong to them, and for most of them a good part of it has quietly stopped doing so.
We take on a limited number of houses at a time.

That did not send.
Something between this page and our inbox failed, and we would rather say so than show you a thank you and lose the message.
Your words are still in the form. Send them again, or write to enquiries@ancorella.com and it comes straight to us.
